DW wants a shower seat (she has RA and uses a shower chair at home at times). I understand Winne offers one as an option.

Does anyone have one in a Journey? If so, where is it attached, is it sturdy, etc?

I may just get her a folding shower seat.

I think it may be a good thing for you Gary. We have one but being large (me) I don't tend to use it. It folds flat against the side and I think it would be adequate. Good miles

We have one in our Journey, It is attached to the side wall of the coach. I didn't think it would hold me (190lb's) so I cautiously tried it and it WAS solid. Came with a package I ordered so I don't really use it much but on occasion I find myself sitting down "just cause I can".

Gary,

Our Journey came with the seat installed. When my daughter was smaller she used to sit on it for her shower. I'm whooped now having just got home today from our West trip, but I'll try to shoot a couple pictures and take photos of it tomorrow.

Joe

Thanks, Joe. Photos would be great. I sent you a PM but guess you were on the road when I sent it. We will be doing a trip West and I'd like to hear about your travels, any suggestions, etc.

Gary - I don't know if our showers are the same size and configuration but I just uploaded a picture of ours.

John:

Thanks for the pic. I have a triangular shower and would think the seat (if factory installed) would be mounted on the outside wall. Hope to see Joe's pic and will decide then. I'll bet it is an expensive little seat.

Gary,
I just emailed you the pictures. You're right the seat is on the outside wall. Seems to be pretty sturdy. The seat itself looks to be the same one John has.
