We love ours. We travel in the West and Southwest a lot where the water is really hard normally. We bought the "On the Go" single and if I had to do over I'd get the On the Go Dual. The only problem with the unit that we got is we have to recharge it every 2-weeks or so. Recharging takes about 30 mins and is a small hassle.

It make a noticeable difference when showering, clothes washing and doing dishes.

We highly recommend the system - though I don't know about the On The Go compared to any others. I'd imagine they are all about the same.

This is one item that is on our list to purchase when things return to "normal". Everyone we have talked to in our travels that utilizes them echoes what CreativePart has said. I've watched the setup/breakdown as well as the regeneration of the units and it seems it is worth the hassle. I did notice that CW had a sale on them a couple of months ago and it was cheaper than what I could get them on Amazon so make sure and check around. Pricing varies considerably!
