Water pump

When I switch to my onboard fresh water tank I’m having water coming out of my city connection. Is there a check valve between the inside tank and the water connection?

The check valve is usually right where the hose goes in. The fresh water fill valve could be bad. As a quick fix just put one of those hose scree in shut off valves on hose inlet

Found the problem, the screen was in backwards causing the check valve to stay open.
