Water Heater Hanging By A Thread

My Suburban SW10D water heater would turn on but shut off within 10 seconds. I took it to a local RV place expecting an easy fix only to find out my tank was pulling away from the outer wall. It is slowing sinking into the cavity between the outside wall and the bathroom cabinets. The tech at the RV place told me he thought the flange might be cracked or broken or even the water heater is broken. He would not work with my extended warranty and I said good bye. Does anyone have any ideas? It looks like a bit of bad planning by Winnebago to have 10Gal. water heater just hanging there with some screws, when you take in considerations the vibration and big bumps we hit on some of our great roads. By the way Lazy Days said they would honor my extended warranty and I have an appoint to get it fixed next month, but I'm still curious.

That does make one wonder but then you've not given any of the important info on what you have.
What year, make and model of RV? Is it a trailer or motorhome and what kind of condition was it? Did the structure fail due to leaks not repaired in time or was there damage from other accidents?

Can't really tell what's up without knowing what's up! Water heaters don't fall out of Rv's without some major structure failing!

Why no RV year, make and floorplan on MY signature as we suggest for others?
I currently DO NOT have one!
