Ultimate Freedom gray water valve

In a bind with full tank and the gray water valve cable let loose from the valve Didn't know I was superman when I pulled it, Thandle and about 3ft cable came out. Does anyone know where and how to access the valve for repair? Or recommend repair facility near Denver CO? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
-Boz-

You need to remove the panel in the compartment in front of the water compartment and go in through there and put cable back in and tighten set screw back up. That is how I had to do it on our ultimate when we had one. Also had to remove white panel in water compartment.

I have the opposite problem, mine will not close completely and very hard to push in. I've bent 3 cable housings so far. Camping World says this is because the cable must make a sharp bend near the valve.
I keep mine soaked with Liquid Wrench, it helps some.

You know, if I was having a chronic problem like that I'd put in an electric valve. Just push the button. We have them on our rig, just never gave it a thought as to a real need for them until I read this thread.

Thanks Ranger Smith! I removed the panel and could see behind the water compartment and this helped in removin the water compartment panels thus last night I was able to access the valve and pull the plunger with of all things my 25 year old drum brake spring remove/install tool 'cause my arms were too short to reach the valve which is about 4' inboard! This morning, I used the same tool to line up the cable and insert it into the valve cylinder and torqued it down. Ops normal
Thanks Chris for the plumbing diagram link!

When ours started doing that I had to replace the valve. Four bolts and it slid out.
