My shower head is obviously in several pieces screwed together. However, they are "tightly" screwed together. I would like to remove the flow constriction. Can someone point to where I should start unscrewing to find the constriction?

I have removed the piece below the on/off flow cutoff. It has improved the flow of the shower. Also, make sure to check the screen filter leading into the water pump for debris if your purpose for doing this is that you don't feel that you have adequate pressure. I'm not sure but this may only affect pressure for when you are using the water pump. I was also told by someone who had an issue in Forest City that there are a few "disc" restrictors in various locations in the shower extension (don't know exactly where) that can be individually removed to increase flow.

I think this is what I am looking for. I was hoping someone would know where they were so I wouldn't have to unscrew pieces that don't have them. My shower head pieces are so tight I am going to need pliers to unscrew them.

We had our shower head replaced (under warrenty) because it would drop pressure in the middle of taking a shower. Mainly on the cold side.
We've had no problems after replacing the head. We just chalked it up to being defective

If the hose is removed going into the head you can remove the flow restrictor from this area to increase the flow. This will also use more water so be mindful when you are boondocking.

I unscrewed mine at position #4 (ref your foto) & found what looked like a white plastic restrictor in the end of the flex line. Tried to remove it (w/pliers) GENTLY, without too much torque to mess it up. Could not get it out, so decided not to force it.
Still living w/restricted flow (but it works).

I've played with the flow on several motor home showers and always found that if you purchase the generic head that Camping World sells, it flows better than everyone of the stock ones that I've had.

James, try looking in the #2 area for a flow retrictor washer.

Mike, I found a fkiw restrictor washer at the #2 area. I encountered the same problem on removing this washer as Thudman. Do you have a process to easily remove the washer? I try a flat screw driver, but I counldn't get the end between the metal and the washer.

If it's a Phoenix shower only, there is a vacuum breaker where the hose attaches to the control body that restricts flow due to the size of the opening in the vacuum breaker rubber flapper.
The metal restrictors in the aerators can be drilled to increase flow or removed completely.

What method would be easiest for removing the restrictor without drilling?
Is the Pioneer Dairy still in business? There Ice Cream has to be the best!
