Sewer Hose Replacment
I have what I believe is the original sewer hose on our Adventurer. This past weekend it sprung a leak from a pinhole. I like the fittings that are on the current hose setup with the valve that I can close that goes into the drain.
So is there a recommended hose to use while keeping the original winnebago fittings? Or do we switch over to another setup?
Thanks

Although most sewer hoses have the the fittings per-installed, I have seen some without. Probably need to check around the internet. I assume that your current fittings can be moved from one hose to another.

I like the Polychute, it fit our Journey with no modifications. YES it is expensive but it is very well built, smooth on the inside and comes with it's own box. The folks are super nice and deliver when they say they will. Should be the only hose you need to buy a long time.

I'd like to join in on this question too. We have a 1992 Adventurer; it has a standard fitting and dump valves in the sewer compartment. The hole and cover in the floor of the compartment is a little too small to fit the assembled ends of my RhinoFlex hose through -- I'd have to disconnect the twist-on hose ends from the fittings, but they're stuck tight.
Is there any hose that attaches securely to the sewer fittings that will pass through the compartment floor hole that won't eventually leak or bind up? Not sure if I trust friction-fit parts. Latches or bayonet-style fastening seems more reliable. Ideas?

AdvntureCats - You brought up a good point. I have the same issue with the PolyChute hose. It's just too big for the hole so I just leave the door propped against the hose but I don't like doing that. I plan to take a dremel tool and either cut my opening a little or just replace the silly spinning sewer access hole cover. Its a pain to spin open or shut sometimes. I may just replace it with some wood and figure out a way to secure it in the open and closed postion.

I have, at least twice, bought a plain hose (no fittings) and attached it to the original Winnie discharge with the valve in it.
You may need a small pair of wire cutters to get the old one off. Clean up the end of the plastic fitting before attaching the new hose - use a hose clamp to secure it.
A little vaseline may help the new hose go on easier.

Check out the "Sewer Solution". Camping World sells them and they also have a website. This is the 3rd coach using the same one (over 7 years). It works like a champ and takes up no room at all when stored

Thanks for the replies.
Sewer Solution, since it needs water to operate this would not work at some of the parks we go to, for example this past weekend the water was not turned on yet due to cold temperatures.
I removed the old hose from the Winnebago fittings this evening. Maybe I will purchase a new hose at the beginning of every season?
We rarely camp with full hookups so the hose comes out only when we dump.
I do like the polychute also.
