Question out of semi-idle curiosity.

What's the longest sewer hose distance you've experienced?

95% time we camp at local lakes, no sewer hookup. Dump stations only. In travels don't think we've needed more than 10-12 feet.

I’ve seen some 5th wheels with 40’-50’ of sewer hose stretched out before. They’re usually the ones with 2 bathrooms and those are dropped from different areas. We have a macerator with a 20’ hose and have only had it fully extended a few times. I don’t think it’s uncommon to have a couple lengths of hose connected to get to the sewer connection at some parks.

Most times its just one section of hose 10-12ft. It seems however as soon as I put my second section away I am short maybe 2 feet. That's why I have an additional 10feet.

The worst place I've seen was Sun Lakes State Park near Dry Falls in Washington state. I first went there with my family when I was probably 5 or 6, so over 50 years ago. I went there again two years ago and made the "mistake" of staying in the state park portion rather than the private portion which is much more modern and had wifi (there was little cell signal in that remote location). Anyway, apparently back when that park was made they thought sewer connections should be at the far back, and not only was my connection too far away, it was uphill! Fortunately they did have a dump station on the way out.

I would highly recommend checking out that area of Washington. Dry Falls is incredible and was formed at the end of an ice age when an ice dam broke and sent all the water that had collected in Montana through Washington State. The pictures on Google Maps do not do it justice.

Because I wanted to face away from the sun and toward water and mangroves, I parked by pulling in forwards which put the sewer diagonally away from the holding tank drain and the door, awning, table and chairs on the side of the sewer. I built an incline under the RV with two 10'vinyl eves troughs on blocks and ran the last 15' across the patio, coiling it up except when actually dumping. I also needed 75' of electrical cord. It was not ideal, but much better than facing south into the Florida sun.

I normally carry two 10' hoses. But I have a macerator pump, which will push the sewage thru a hose (dedicated to sewage) up to 50' if necessary.

We have 4 10’ collapsible hoses that shrink down two 2’ each. Only once have we needed all four, because I parked in front first. Typically, we need two sections, but always better to have more than fewer when needed.

I carry a 15' rhino hose that is used 90% of the time. I also carry two 15' slinky hoses just in case. Use one occasionally, usually supported by some sections of rain gutter. And once both used too, stretched to the 45' limit, at 'The Bees RV Park" along the 27 in Florida. It was quite a aqueduct bridge looking arrangement, but it worked.

100 feet is my longest. Pumped into a relatives sewer system. I have a Sewer Solution system and used a 100 foot hose. Great system.

60 feet for us. It was on personal property had about. 5 percent grade so it worked out great. Cause it basic ran down hill. I would occasionally check the hose to make sure it was not backed up or standing water in it. As I picked it up you would hear the water continue on. But nothing major. We enjoyed three months camping this way.

Had 3 15 foot Rino hoses once, big issue was trying to get some pitch. Was happy we only had a 3 day stay

We stay in our MH in our daughters back yard for a cumulative 8-12 weeks a year.

I use 100 feet of 3/4" garden hose and a macerator pump to do a weekly black water dump. Between the black water dumps I gravity drain the gray water to a corner of the yard under some bushes.
