Restart tankless water heater 2015 View

We are NEW Winnebago owners, bought a 2015 View from a private party in January. We’ve not owned an RV before, all the systems are a bit overwhelming.

The previous owners “ upgraded” to a propane tankless water heater. We had the RV winterized by a company in Madison, Wi and so far, we haven’t been able to make the water heater work again.

We live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan which is 7+hours from Madison. No manual for the heater was included in the info given to us when we purchased the RV.

Can anyone tell what to do (check on) to turn it on again? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Should be a water heater switch on your monitor panel.

there are 3 “buttons” to press on the control panel but we can’t figure out how they function. When we pressed them the screen showed a moving circle but still didn’t turn the heater on.

What kind of tankless heater is it. It won't come on till you turn on the hot water faucet.

My tankless is a Truma, it is only LP. I think all of the tankless systems are probably LP only.

Make sure your LP is turned on, one switch is by the fill and another switch is above the fridge with other controls - they both must be in the on position. Next, on mine there is a selector switch on the unit itself - remove outside cover and look for a switch (mine has two positions. eco & comfort) select one or the other otherwise it is in the off position. Last go to your one place monitor and select LP heater.

Since yours is an afterbuild the switches on the heater itself and at your control panel may vary.

Have you contacted the seller for instructions or did he provide any paperwork?
