Quick disconnect for drinkable water hose

Hi All,
I would like to use quick disconnects for my drinking water hose and use one for black tank flush (i know that one does not matter) and I was looking for recommendations. Thanks in advance

For gardening and car washing purposes at home I use the plastic quick disconnects. But for RV use I chose to use metal ones. A couple years ago I bought some from Home Depot and from WalMart. The Depot version was all brass and WalMarts's were aluminum plated with brass-looking chrome. The ones from Depot were best.

I've both plastic and metal. I had more sticking problems with the metal connectors. So, I went back to plastic. But they don't last all that long. In fact, I've gone back to not using the quick connects everywhere but at the main city water inlet. That way I only have one pair to replace every year.

I'm sure there must be come kind of heavy duty models of these things. But I haven't found them.

I have been very happy with these, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...e?ie=UTF8&th=1 Both around the home and on the RV.

I use brass for drinking water and plastic for flushing the black water tank. Th e only problem I've had is with the freshwater inlet. If you don't remove it ocaisionallly hard water salts will build up making removal difficult.

This^

That’s been my problem and it seems more common with the brass versions.
