Question about Aqua Hot

Hi we have a new to us Tour.
We used to be able to use our fifth wheel in the winter after winterizing. Obviously without water.
Now we are wondering can we use this new camper after winterizing. ?

We have diesel fuel aqua hot for heat.

Your AH does not circulate water. It's a antifreeze type solution at 184 degrees that heats your water. Winter use if fine.

I've had my rig in cold down to -15 Celcius and never needed to winterize it using my AquaHot for heat. I have an Ellipse almost identical to the Tour.

Yes, You can use the Trailer after winterizing,
Question: Did you winterize it correctly?
This is very important!

We have the 2013 Tour with aqua heat. We have had some freezing temps here the past month and we are not winteizing...just turn on the burner to keep the coach warm enough so nothing freezes. I guess if we lived where it was consistantly below freezing we might think differently, but we like being able to take off if we feel like it without having to flush out the pink stuff.

I've done both...but, I think next year I will jut run the aqua hot when necessary. It does get expensive if its on and cold for a fee weeks.

Just remember, you also have domestic water in the basement that could freeze, ....Quicker probably.

As long as the burner is on the basement is heated to 50/55 degrees. Including the holding tanks.
