We own a 2005 Adventurer 37b. In our model the 300w inverter for the TVs is located in the upper RH front cabinet - in front of the passenger seat. To use it to watch TV we have to manually switch it on, and it is already wired to provide 120v power to the mid-dinnete TV as well as the BR TV in the rear. We could leave it on all the time but to save on battery power we are sure to turn it off when not needed.

The other item you may need to find is the converter. In our model it is located under the drawer under the stove.

Thank you for your input, it is much appreciated. I did find the 300 watt inverter and the 60 Amp converter. The inverter was right where you said it would be, it just moved out of sight up against the Apex patch panel and my converter was under the fridge. The coach is new to us but so far we're loving every minute of it.

Good save al1florida.
As you've noticed, that little 300W inverter was about was running the TV and DVD. My 2005 has the same little critter.
I think about why he wanted amperage, all I can imagine is he's looking to run is his AC. So 15 amps, so 72AH. Pretty substantial. But maybe he just wants the microwave for a quick burst or two. Anyway, if you have lead acid batteries you can only draw down to 50% and it will take quite a while recharge greatly depleted batteries too. There's just no free lunch is there.

Hi Al, yes it is a big converter and I only use two 6 Volt batteries at 255Ah. I install the appropriate gauge wire, fusing and disconnects. The last sett-up I had like that working for days boon docking with light loads, but if I needed to run a compressor or heavier loads for short periods I have the capacity. Good management is required but it's a great set-up. I have four charging methods, Solar, Genset, shore power, Engine alternator. I have the 145 amp alternator and it does charge the house battery bank.
