No ice cubes

I have a residential fridge and I can get water from the water dispenser but no ice - any suggestions? I scoured the manuals and can't figure out the problem.

Our Samsung has a button on the control panel that shuts off the ice maker. You might check for something similar.

If no success with the above, you might try putting some water in the ice trays and let them go through a cycle.

Most of the residential fridges have a flip wire that goes up when the ice tray is full of ice. Have you check to make sure that it is down and not up (indicating "full" and no ice needed)?

WAY!! You have a water dispenser! Damn wished ours had come with one. I would check the ice maker arm to make sure its in the down position. I'm sure you checked that. Perhaps call the dealer where you bought it and ask for a tech.

I once had an issue with the fill tube to the ice tray freezing when the frig was off for a while. After I spotted the ice, I used a hair dryer to melt it and it's been fine ever since.

Now I make sure that my frig is never off (a benefit of full timing).

Our Maytag has an on/off button inside the icemaker.
