Leaking toilet foot pedal

Hey all! Hope all is well, we just picked up a 1994 21ft Minnie Winnie and on our maiden voyage it looks like the part of the toilet just past where the water hose connects to the base of the flush pedal is leaking water when the pump is on/City water is connected. It’s all good but I can’t seem to locate any shut offs for the toilet or bathroom. In the manual it says that there are shut offs under the sink, but down there it looks like just two pull pin drain valves. It’s not a huge deal except we now can’t run water to the rest of the rig so we can’t shower or wash dishes. My thought as a short term fix was to buy a plug or shut off valve and just attach it to the end of the water hose that connected to the toilet. Does this seem like a feasible idea?

If you are currently using the trailer, that sounds like a logical plan from here. With it plugged in some way, you can continue to use the stool but just flush what is needed with a bucket, etc. of water.
We do have to "rough it" every now and then!

Nice! Thanks for the reply, I just wanted to make sure that wasn’t gonna cause any additional problems as I’m pretty new to the whole RV life.
