Labels for tank release valves

This is confusing. Per the attached photos the right side has two labels. One says wastewater and the other sewage. On the left side there is one label. It says wastewater.

However, on the right side there is only one valve and it's gray. On the left side there are two valves. One is gray and the other is black.

Could the manufacturer have misplaced the labels? Why two labels on the right side with only one gray valve and then one label on the left side that has two valves (black and gray)?

Yes,
Same issue with our 2021 2529RG. Poor placement of decals.

Makes sense but we have had people here that found gray handles on black tanks. So, it’s “trust but verify” when it comes to colored valve handles. Just be careful, that’s all.

I guess the best way is to use a clear elbow on the hose to see what all is coming from where.

I've never seen an OEM waste tank drain valve on the starboard side of an RV made in N. America.

The wastewater and sewer drain valves are on the port side. There is a fresh water storage drain valve on the starboard side although I’m still unsure of where the water drains from.

If you crawl under your rig you will see a recessed valve very near the freshwater valve handle. When you pull that valve handle it does a fast drain straight to the ground.

I am dealing with this nightmare today on our maiden voyage. What a cluster! Yes the black and gray handles are labeled backwards. To make matters worse the dealer service people left the black and both gray valve handles in the open positionand I did not realize this. Included in the price was supposedly giving the unit a final inspection. I was charged for it but it clearly never happened. One of the valves was stuck in the open position. Fortunately, it was a gray water bath and not the alternative.
