Holding tank heat 'pads'

2003 Winnie-Minnie has electric 'heating pads' on gray and black holding tanks. Both are coming loose (black is about to fall off). It appears they were originally attached with some kind of double side sticky tape. Any suggestions on re-attaching the pads? Also, any info on heating the fresh water tank ? I don't think there is one on the WM.

Don't know what double sided tape it's recommended. As for heating your fresh water tank sometimes manufacturers install a small heat vent hose from the furnace in the compartment to keep things above freezing.

Often if the fresh tank is higher, on top of the black / grey tanks , manufacturer figures heating the lower tanks is enough.

Looking for same solution on my 2002 Minnie. Originally told to replace both, $$$.

I'd research 3m or contact technical support to see what they recommend for the pads. I'm the thinner the tape the better the heat transfer.

Adhesive tape

When it happened to me two years ago, I used double-sided Eternabond tape. It's still holding perfectly.

Passing on information from another blog.

Still looking!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not sure who manufactured my heating pads, but I just emailed 3M for a possible adhesive solution.
