Has anybody figured out how to install a dishwasher in a 40R?

We are not full timers but are out 130+ nights a year. After a few weeks out the dishes etc. are greasy and really not clean enough. In our old 2007 Endeavor I figured out how to install a dishwasher.

We looked at many models before buying the Journey. The ONLY grump was no dishwasher. There is a spot on the full wall slide below the cook top. There is water and power there, but trying to find a way to snake the drain from the slide to the mid ship gray water line using flex line has me totally baffled.

Anybody done that?

Yes I have installed a dish washer into every Motorhome I have owned. Quite expensive to run, but she does cook and clean as well.
She uses very hot water and detergent and we have no problems with greasy dishes

Mine has been high maintenance, getting up in years and worn, trading up is out of the question.

Unless we have guests, we only ever use 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 forks, ... you get the idea. Each person is responsible for cleaning their plates and such. Also, unless you have a mind-blowing amount of square footage, a dedicated dishwasher is not the best use of space.

That said, however, there are counter top dishwashers available. That might be a better option.

Usually the d/w drain line is small and simply connects to the sink drain via a nipple. Is the sink next to the stove where the d/w would go?

Check out the 40R floor plan. The space for the dishwasher is in the full wall slide. The sink is stationary mid ship. The problem is getting the flex drain line to mid ship where the gray water line is. Just can't wrap my mind around how to get the flex from point A to point B. Was hoping somebody had figured it out. We knew this going in when buying this unit.
