Hand faucet-no water

In our new SunCruiser, the hand faucet next to the toilet doesn't seem to be getting any water. Hose not visibly kinked, no hand nozzle seems OK, all other water including toilet and sink are OK. So, add it to the punch list for repair, or am I missing something?

Did you step down on the toilet flush pedal? That activates the water to the hand spray.

Logically one would think that water to the hand spray would/should be available without having to use the foot pedal. Would seem to be more conservative on water usuage I would think by doing it that way.

Agree.

BTW, I went back to the instruction manual for the toilet and could not find any mention of the foot pedal requirement for using the hand-faucet. A small item, to be sure.

Overall, however, I am very impressed by Winnebago's information sharing: the info-pack, operators manuals, etc. The signage and labels are generraly very clear, everything is explained well, and the service techs comment all the time on how well-organized the whole package is.

I described it to another RVer at the campground who just got a new Bounder and her jaw dropped as she said something like, "I would give anything to have all that." Poor thing was an RV newbie, and the day before found a way to run her air conditioner off of her 12-volt circuit (I didn't know you could do that??!!), and she killed her coach batteries in about an hour.

Might be a good time to point out that little metal rod between those two brackets is a built in device to hold a roll of toilet paper. Saves on hauling around a bunch of corn cobs...

Let's just say it's one of those features that no one knows the reason for, but that everyone has used once in a while but won't admit it.

Or, it's a bidet.

Just out of curiosity, mine will drip a bit after using. When I brought this up to the tech as something to be fixed from my punch list items, he said "they all do that, nothing we can do."

Since it's not that big of aggravation to me, I bought what he said but I just wonder if all of you have that issue of the sprayer dripping a little after use?

A poor mans bidet, I never thought of it that way, I think I will give it a try. Now if I could get just a little warmer water.
