We had an unfortunate accident while travelling this winter. Upon arrival at camp when the cupbord above the sink was opened a canned good fell out & broke the large sink cover. Has anyone had success gluing the two pieces & if so what product did you use?

Suncruiser Ron,

Winnebago stocks these covers for replacement purposes at a reasonable price.

How do I know?

Just ordered replacements for my sink after a similar fate where the dishes spilled from the cupboard. Score: Dishes 1, Cover 0

You can order them separately, but I ordered both in case the color match wasn't perfect with the original material.

Ron, if you take the pieces to a Corion counter Mfg they can make you one to match your counter top, they have lots of scraps to work with, an not that expensive.---"007"

A recent post indicated the countertop company is Vendura, 800-394-4524; vendura.com

Had the same experience when a mug fell outta the cupboard. Winnie dealer got me a new one, think it was around 50-60 dollars. It matched perfectly.
Check out this site http://www.winnebagoparts.com.
They stock most parts for winnies and it they may be cheaper. Good Miles

Corion can be repaired. But i think it will cost as much as ordering a new one.

Winnebagoparts.com will have this piece in stock and they'll be able to ship on the same day as you placed the order.

You can use our Winnebago parts books links that we have here for reference, get the part number and order the item.

Winnebago Parts.com is an iRV2.com sponsor.

We did the same thing and glued ours back together with super glue. That was about four years ago and it is still holding just fine. You can see the repair if you look closely but it beats 50 or 60 bucks for a new one.

Hi Ho: It is hard to say what it takes to break the cover. Ours broke simply from driving on rough roads in Yellowstone when the MH was new. The replacement has been fine ever since, so who knows?

Broke one and costs me $70 to replace thru Winn.
Had corian installed in my home and told workers what I paid. Told me next time to take pieces to them and it would be less than what I paid.

As a follow-up to my earlier posting (#2) on this issue:

New replacement sink covers arrived today. They are manufactured of "Vendura" and the color match is very good but not perfect. The new ones are slightly lighter in shade than the now 5 year old original installation (Jamaican Sand).

Color perfectionists should buy both, while others can save half by replacing only the broken one.
