Question Black water tank flush

Greetings, Just purchased a micro mini 2306bhs. One feature I was looking forward to using was the black water flush system (our old towable didn’t have that feature). But, i hooked up a hose (not our drinking water hose) to the flush system and... nothing. No water flow into the black tank. Can anyone give me an idea what I’m missing? I’ve read through a couple of threads in this forum and it seems it should be a straight forward process but I seem to be missing something. Can’t find anything about the flush system in the owner’s manual so thought I’d try here. Thanks for your ideas and help.

Dan

Welcome aboard Danny,
I’ll lay odds that you stump everybody on this one.
I presume you’ve already tried connecting, turning on spigot and going inside and opening the toilet valve all the way, listening for water.
If everything is on, and you’re not hearing water inside at the toilet, there has to be an obstruction between the outside connection and the whirlygig at the top of the tank. Maybe you could use a scope to diagnose.

Hi Jim, thanks for your response. I do wonder if there is a valve somewhere I need to open but can’t find it. In one thread there was discussion about possible check valve problem. I’ll look into that. Tomorrow I’ll be calling the dealer as this should be a warranty issue if there is a fault in the line somewhere. We tow our rig with a 2019 Canyon!
