Augment/replace water tanks

I am looking to increase the fresh and black water capacities of a 2022 Micro Mini trailer 2108FSB for off-gridding. It only has a measly 25 gal. Has anyone else done this successfully before?
Thank you,
Michael

Not really a possibility. Your TT is built around the existing tanks, and everything structurally is spec'd to the weights of those existing tanks so changing them is not an option.

About your only option is to get external tanks - like a blue caddy for waste water and a separate tank or bladder to carry in your Tow vehicle for fresh water.

When choosing a travel trailer or any RV it's vitally important to carefully review tank sizes at the same time you are reviewing other parts of the RV's capabilities.

One point that issometimes missed is the true definition of "off grid" living. It is not meant to be convenient with all the comfot of home but an example of living with less!
We are expected to use far less power, far less water and far less convenience!
So one skips a few showers, skips the inside toilet and makes due with what they brought with them!

One way to adapt the equipment is to add the extraweight to the pickup bed. Ad a couple 20 gallon tanks, one for fresh and one for black and then use pumps to move the two items between the trailer and truck tanks as needed.
The truck is assumed to have more load capacity than the trailer?? Larger tires, heavier frame, etc.

I do think the most practical answer is to use external tanks as has been suggested by prior posts. Even if it was structurally okay, the black and grey tanks are sandwiched behind the axles and separated by the drain plumbing. You’d need to find deeper tanks (have them hang below the frame rails) or rework things to push the tanks forward (for more volume). Towing might be fun as you’d be sending more weight to the rear as well (using up your bigger fresh volume and sending more volume to the rear). All-in-all, external tanks and extra trips to a dump station are probably the most practical approach.

Carry a water bladder to transport fresh water when boondocking. When unused it doesn't take up much space or weigh much.
