Yes, call Rand Mc Nally or Navitech and get the SD card for Rand McNally, I paid $225. Check with them the model of your radio. Its a simple swap, I kept theold SD card in case I ver need it again.

I would never pay over $200 for an update... why our cars have never been updated (nor used !)
a new 7" Garmin RV760 is a much better investment --- remember gps is Garmins ONLY business, so they have to get it right

Thanks Tpvn2357 all for all the good info. Sorry that I am so dense. Where is the SD card located on my unit?
I have a USB slot with nothing in it.
Is it behind the screen?

This was not for an update, this was for a new system, The updates are free with Rand McNally

The SD card is just to the right of the USB port. On mine the SD Card does not stick out of the slot. I use my ignition key (which conveniently has a flat end) to insert into the slot and press the SD Card to release it. I do the same to put the card back in. Guess this is so the card doesn't get released accidently.

Like all GPSs, it does do some strange routing at times, but that's entirely due to the occasional poor or garbage map data that will always happen.

It also interacts with the Mobile App to allow simple Google type searches on phone and then sends the destination addresses to the unit via Bluetooth.

Very happy with it. The giant 7" screen is also very legible.
I have the Garmin 760 LMT and it is a great GPS for an RV.

Once you set up the program on your computer it is very easy to update. Just plug the unit in to your computer and start the update.

The update program alerts you when updates are available.

How did you set up the back-up camera? Did you have to get another camera or does it use the one already on your rig?

I used the Garmin backup camera accessory with the extended cable wireless receiver (wired from camera to the front of the camper, then wireless to the cab). I no longer use the Garmin camera as my new coach has a built-in camera, but it's easy to install if I want to do so.
