Low cost, low power ceiling fan

I bought this fan from Amazon on a lark. It cost $17 and is a hanging, 12V ceiling fan. The Amazon page says it draws 6W or 0.5 V and that is what I measured.

I plan to hang it on a hook over our bed to provide some air circulation on warm nights. I will try it out for real in the spring and report how it works. But from what I see now it works great.

I hope it works for you. I bought 2 12 volt fans last year, one from Amazon and one off ebay and I had trouble with both. I finally bought a 110 volt unit and it works good.
