King jack antenna

The controller for our antenna has one round knob to turn the antenna and no way of telling which direction gives more signal strength.

There are LED signal strength lights. BUT you must power it up with the tiny ANT/CABLE button on the wall plate in your entertainment/tech cabinet.

two options...

- trial and error. point the antenna, scan for channels. repeat as needed.

- download the Winegard TV Signal Finder or the Digital TV Antenna app. each will show you in which direction to point your antenna. the digital TV antenna app will always show you the way to point the antenna regardless of which way you hold your smart phone or tablet. both are available for no charge in the apple app store. i assume they would be available in the google play store for android.

You could position the antenna so the point is facing forward. Then mark the knob so that you have a position pointer.
The antenna power must be on in the compartment. Position the antenna so you have the most lights lit. Then scan for channels on the TV
The knob that came with the antenna has the pointer but also has 2 buttons that must be pressed to turn the unit. Hope yours turns without making noise and resistance. You might check the Jack site for a replacement knob.
Good luck
