Very nice videos. That new 6-speed shifts very nicely. It's smooth and shifts nice and firm. I think you've got a winner there.

well,... did the sumo's and the coach just wasn't right...thought that I would try the rear panhard bar (track bar) i also did the bilstien shocks.....

I had to run down to havasu today... 160 miles.... seems that I was wrestling the coach the whole way....I've owned a yard full of these things,... this one just wasn't responding to any thing I did....soooooo.... stop'd in the wall mart parking lot... got out a tape measure and checked alignment..... towed out 5/8"

holey wheep'n jesus......... no wonder set it at 1/8" toe in....

wife had to listen to me all the way home....." look no hands, straight as an arrow"

Please look carefully at what the hitch is mounted to. Often gasser chassis have an extension fabricated and added to the chassis rails to which the hitch is then bolted. This extension may become your "weakest link".

Thank you VERY much for taking the time to record those videos and post them. I was very much interested in the hill-climbing performance of the V10 w/ the new 6 speed and your excellent comparison put aside any concerns I had regarding it's ability to handle it. The new transmission seems to keep the revs a bit lower which cuts down on the noise too.

I've always been of the impression that in order to pull bigger grades in a 30,000lb +/- rig you needed a diesel pusher, but clearly your video shows that's not the case at all.

thanks for the kind words.. so it looks like right out of the box the new ford v-10 6 speed is king of the hill..

who would think it was 23 mph faster pulling the same trailer than the journey with the cat 350hp
