I'm not entirely sure Winnebago intended to provide support for a 27" TV where you'd like it (and where it makes the most sense to be - at the foot of the bed.)
I think they intend for there to be a postage stamp sized TV in the top corner where the bathroom pocket door wall and the rear wall of the camper meet. Which explains the outlet you mention seeing up there. You can sort of see Winnebago's bedroom TV setup in the interior gallery section of the 24P on their web site. And it looks to line up with the previous 2020 24P incarnation too.
Seems like you're already on the right track in thinking you'll need a custom setup to end up where you'd like.

After spending some quality time with a tape measure, painter's tape, and a a stud finder, I broke the code. The mount is actually an offset swingarm mount and it's screwed in towards the right side of the TV. Considering the possiblity of driving and bouncing and the weight being a bit of a lever into where the mount is screwed in, I also did some stress release with a zip tie and one of those 3M stick on hooks. In a perfect world, it would have gone a few inches lower, but I couldn't do that. I'm also glad that I got the 27" instead of the 32" I was originally considering.
I think I'm set now, but thanks for the reply, and yes, the bedroom is perhaps the biggest change between the F and the P.
