The TV's in most Winnebago's are generally held down by a metal framework. Most of the time you will find a screw or bolt in an adjoining cabinet, or through the shelf below the tv. If you post a picture of your setup it might be of more help in finding a solution for you.

Check underneath the tv cabinet. There may be a hex head bolt near the front corners that secure a metal strap that goes up and over the tv. That may be a false bottom on the cabinet and need to be removed to get at the bolts holding down the tv. There is a trim piece at the top of the tv that you can pull off, it is secured by brads and can be easily replaced.

You may be right about the false bottom. Will check it out in the morning.
Thanks

OK!!!
There is indeed a false bottom on the TV cabinet. With that out of the way I could get to the two bolts that held the strap that was holding the TV. There was also some glue on the strap on top of the TV. Had to remove the trim piece across the top to get to that glue.
All is well.
Thanks for the help

Glad to see that you got it taken care of and happy to have been of some help. Now continue with more pics of your new set up for us. I'd love to do same sort of change out for both TV's in ours.

Well the new flat screen is in!!
I first ordered a swing out mount but did not like it at all. Sooo--- my buddy and I built our own. It is aluminum strap and steel hinges. I used the snap clip off one of the doors we removed in the fireplace install to secure the right side of the TV. We then made a wooden filler for the top of the old TV box.
I still have some cleanup inside the box securing the cables and wires to do. Just thought I would make a progress report.

I would love to take credit but a carpenter I am not. I do have ideas through so I had a shop in Spokane take the old boat anchor out install this one (26" LED) in. I asked if they could use the TV as a door and this is what they came up with. These guys are very good at what they do. Now we have a nice storage cabinet where the old TV used to be and as you can see in the photo, easy access to the Washer valves that were a challenge to access before.
If you are in the Spokane area and have need for some artistry, look up Truline RV. Good bunch of people.

This is what they did with the old one that used to be above the dash. It is on a lift into the cabinet which holds our all in one computer, printer, file drawer and satellite receiver. And the best part is that everything looks OEM as if the coach was built this way.

I love projects that look OEM. This is very nice. But this now begs the question of what did you do above the dash?
