Could this be a slide issue and if so is there a way to check and see if something is loose?
First of all, I was having the white knuckle issue with this coach when I first got it in 2013. Last year I installed the Blue Ox TruCenter and I love it. Those crosswinds are not a problem any longer.

The noise: Do you use your travel locks? I am guessing you have them as I do on my coach. They help keep the top of the slide from flapping in and out. The other possible problem is the topper getting caught by the wind.

Another thought is, what do you have in your cupboards? Do you pack them down with pillows and towels?

I hope you find the noise. Rattles are most distracting.

What are travel locks? If they are for the slides, I don't have them. Was told they weren't needed on the 34B.

It looks like you don't have them on your coach. My system is PowerGear and has locks.

I think I have read on this forum about this problem. If I recall correctly folks have picked up some sort of mechanical stop that holds the top of the slide in place when traveling. I think it is some sort of a expanding rod. You might try this. Just remember to hang some sort of a flag from it to remind you it is in place. Damage to your slide is a good thing. I think you can get them at CW or most RV stores. That is worth a try.

I have travel lock on my coach but I have not used them until recently. They were not working and I needed to replace the motors and a thrust washer. Now, with them working and used the slide seems a bit more stable. They lock the top of the slide against the coach wall when the slide is in.

Speaker and lighting wires in the cabinets are a potential rattle if they were not tied down correctly during manufacturing.

I hope you got to the root of your problem.

Happy trails,

Rick Y
