2016 Forza 34T, LR TV & Cable Channels
2016 Forza 34T ( purchased 12/26) going full time and traveling the country staying in the sun and warmth.
Samsung TV Model # UN48J5000AF
I can get cable channels on the bedroom tv beautifully.
On the LR TV, it is fuzzy and pixelated.
This is what I have done so far, on the LR TV
I have done a TV reset
Auto scanned for cable channels, STD - HRC - IRC
I can get channels with both STD & IRC, but they are fuzzy and pixelated.
The button for the OTA channels is not on.
I haven’t removed the cables from the TV or searched for the splitter in the wall as of yet. Is that my next troubleshooting step?
Thanks for any help

First off you might want to check here for tv coax diagram
https://winnebago.com/Files/Files/Wi..._l34t_wire.htm
You are saying that the br tv is ok but lr is not. I would run dedicated coax from the wall connection directly to the lr tv. This would let you know if the tv is the problem. I can not remember but at one time some tv's would not work on certain cable systems.
Ok you have run the dedicated coax and your tv works as it should. I would then track down the splitters. Make sure the connections are tight if so. Go and purchase new (gold) splitters as the original ones may not be the best.
Good luck

I had a similar issue on my Vista, the Living Room TV was good but the bedroom TV was always fuzzy.
I’ll echo what Be Happy said, in my case it was simply tightening the coax cable on the splitter. My splitter was located “near” the antenna booster button, which is in the over driver compartments. Finding the splitter in the large amounts of cables up there took a little bit of time, the actual tightening was easy. If you access the Winnebago drawings for your rig online, you should be able t get a decent idea where the splitters will be.
If you need to actually replace, they are pretty cheap and available at many hardware and box box stores. But check for loose connections first, our rigs take a lot of vibrations as we rattle down the highway.
Good luck!

I favor using a combo of the wiring info which is often pretty generic and the parts catalog as specific info for my specific RV. In you case there appears to be an early and a late year build, so you may need to sort down to which you have as a first step.
If not up on which RV you have, one quick way to find the info is looking at the RV label somewhere to the driver's left side.
That should give you the serial number of the unit. NOT VIN! But 7th digit of serial number with 1 and it is early or 2 for late year build. That lets you sort out any mods may as the year went on! And you need that to get to the correct drawings for info.
But once you find which coax drawing you might have, I combine that with the interactive parts drawings to locate things like splitters, etc. and where they may be hidden!
https://catalog.winnebagoind.com/menu/Parts.htm
On a quick look and not knowing which RV, I did not spot splitters but found more complex boxes, like switchers, etc.?
Note that there were tape markers placed on the coax when built and those markers are on the drawings as a way to help sort which coax goes to what on the next end.
Sometimes TV is the harder for me to figure as there are so few rules for what they can do!
Hunt and peck like an Easter egg hunt? We have to look under ALL the bushes!

Thanks for your response.
Using the link for the diagrams I’ve determined that my situation is in the attached pic.
I’ll be working with this and tracking down the connections and tightening or replacing those pieces.

The splitter was behind the OTA antenna switch , behind card board panel . All cables met there . Showed it on Winnebago drawing for my Forza .

This is one item difference to spot as the different build dates can help get to the right info.
There are two builds of this RV and each has slightly different info, even down to the location of the splitter!
Both 2016 Forza 34T! But which do you have?

Location shown for one but left unlisted on the other!

“Update”
Removed the panel above the passenger area and removed/replaced the cables on the splitter. Unlocked the LR TV and see that I’m unable to remove the coaxial cable without unmounting the TV. I’m only one person so I don’t see that happening at this time.
Powered on the TV, did a scan for cable channels. The picture is fuzzy.
The first pic is diagrams for my RV from the Winnebago app.
The first TV is the LR, the second is the bedroom.

Okay, thanks for the update! Sometimes it is a real slow trick to may things work.
So maybe some guessing on a point that is easy to miss but critical when we do?
Are you familiar with the small button on the faceplate in the front cabinet?
That little button turns the power on to the amp built in the antenna on the roof.
Just looking for somewhere to start, so checking that question?
Click these snips for better view!
But some other questions as well?
Do you have the VCR as shown on the drawing? And then I see a box just under the plate with the switch. I assume that might be some form of switch?
As I understand, the rear TV is getting cable okay?? But not to the front?

Would that lead to thinking a problem right at the switch box? Maybe loose coax there or is there a switch setting on the front that might need changed?
Maybe unscrew those coax where you can reach and see if they might be loose or corroded a bit?
No idea what that box has, so lots more guessing than facts!

I have the switch in the off position. When I depress it, the cable goes out. Figured that out the hard way.
The pictures below are as follows;
First one is the schematic from the Winnebago app, the second is the LR tv and the third is the bedroom tv.
Do I need cable, no…. It’s just frustrating that it isn’t working.!.!.!

Yes, the small points should work, TOO!
Si it looks like you have the small switch right and when it is on, it turns on an amp and I find that does kill the cable!
But if I follow correctly, it might be good to get to the splitter .
See if this makes sense to you?
Cable comes in and gets through the splitter to one TV but not the other.
Is the coax to the bad one loose here going out of the splitter?
Is that coax bad in some way to the bad TV? Maybe a bad connection or something like that would need more chasing?
But if you swap the two coax at this point, the trouble will follow or a different TV will not be good?
IF trouble stays the same place, maybe there is a problem in the splitter itself!
Connection on or in the splitter or is it further out toward the tV?
