2004 Meridian-Diagnostic Connector Location

I got my new ScanGaugeD and am looking for the front diagnostic connector. Before I start taking off the foot rest and such thought I would see if someone with a similar year and model may lead me to the exact location.

Thanks

I would expect to find it to the left of the steering column under the dash. It should look like this:

Chris,

Many thanks! Man that is clean. My Wiring shows more of its age!

We had quite a problem because the Scan Gauge plug would not fit into the receptacle. Called them and they said to shave it off until it went in. Seemed silly but we did and finally got it in. Works great.

Still can’t find the port. Arrrg!

I have the dash cover behind the instrument cluster off and can’t see it from above. I took the kick plate to the left of the steering wheel and can’t see it.
I sure there is one.

I’ll keep looking, but if someone has the same model and had put a scangauge in, Please tell me where I need to look.

Thanks

Found the connector screwed to the fire wall about 8 inch up from the floor and a foot from the driver’s side wall. I had no cap on mine. I had to remove the bracket that held it to the fire wall as wires would not let me plug the cable in.

For those with similar models, you will have to remove the kick plate.

ScanGaugeD is hook up and works, just have to put all the stuff I dismantled to find it!

Thanks to all for the read and assistance!
