st225-75R15 recommendations?

We’ve a 2016 Winnebago instinct 28rbds travel trailer. It hast westlake st225-75R15 tires, 75mph rated, iirc.

On the way home from our Memorial Day trip today, the front passenger side tire blew out. I had noticed earlier that both tires on that side were much hotter than the ones on the other side. Also, the tread was rounded towards the center instead of square like the other side. After changing the tire, we came the rest of the way home without the other one popping.

We bought the camper very slightly used in 2018. I’ve been running 62psi since I bought it. The tires were low when we got it, around 32psi. We’ve only taken distant trips amounting to about 2500 miles, although we frequently use it for local 20-40 mile round trips.

Two pics: one of the blow out, the center tread disappeared. The other showing how the remaining tire on that side is rounded vs the square shape of the spare. Both have the same psi.

I’m looking for the best tires in the size mentioned.

Thanks

Have you considered taking the trailer to a CAT scale to see if it is balanced, or possibly heavy on that side?

I will look into that thank you.

I ordered maxxis tires after seeing generally positive reviews on various forums.
