Roadmaster rear sway bar 1139-146

Thinking of adding this to my 2018 Vista 32ye. Any info on difficulty of installation and handling results would be appreciated...

Assuming an F53 Ford Chassis? THe swaybar should improve handling. E-Trailer has a good video of the install, shoould be doable if you are comfortable with tools and have the place to do it.
Have you thought of adding a rear tracbar as well? I think that is one of the best addons for the F-53.

Ok, thanks. Yes, F53 chassis, 18,000 lbs. Did you install one? Results? Or a rear tracbar?

I did the CHF "cheap handling fix" and did a DIY tracbar. The combination helped tremendously with the sway and the tag wag (trucks passing on the interstates). Weighing the rig and adjusting tire pressures did more good, as well.

Thanks Phil-T. I installed the Roadmaster Sway Bar with a knowledgeable and handy friend. Took a couple of hours and wow, was it worth it! Sway, float, and general handling is Much improved! Love it!

Did the CHF, Rear Track Bar and the Roadmaster Sway Bar. Best mods I have done for handling.

You made a wise decision!

I installed RM 1139-144 for the rear (keeping the original) and replaced stock front with 1139-140 in 2015. The addition of a rear track bar (SuperSteer) and Koni FSD's also helped. Icing on the cake was install of SumoSpring Maxims. After 30K miles, including 1 trip through Alaska and now 2 trips around the US, I'd never drive a F53 without these mods. Simply a joy to drive.
