Rear tire/wheel fiberglass surround??

I see that the rear tire/wheel fiberglass surround is hinged at the top I assume for servicing or replacing the tires or other. How do you get these up..can't find a release ??

It might also be to service the HVAC System. Generally there are some screws on the bottom edge with the heads pointed toward the road.

Texasranger,
I'm assuming by the term "Surround", you mean the rear fender-well or, just fender. If not, may I ask what you mean by that term. Now, according to your sig, you're referring to a '16 Winne coach, correct? Well, our '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the C-7 330HP CAT, has hinges all the way down the coach, hidden under the body molding, on top of the compartment doors. But, there are a few panels that are not compartment doors. For instance, we basement A/C on the passengers side rear, with leuvers.

That panel does hinge up but, not without undoing a few screws. And, our Dash A/C system is on the same area, only on the drivers side and, it too has a leuvered panel that hinges up, with the removal of screws.

So, this is why I'm asking. I know that you don't have basement A/C as Winne and Itasca did away with that around '07 or '08 or so.

It's the big fiberglass piece that surrounds the rear tires. My cargo doors are hinged on the side. This piece has hinges on the top.

would be helpful if you could post a picture. Tried looking at the picture in your signature but the rear wheel area does not show much detail

I'm pretty sure those release and swing up for service. My skirts are one piece over both axles.

If you figure out the release, and catch, let us know! I'll let you know if I figure it out first.

Look at this, not mine but the same. They hinge at the top both front and rear.

There will be a few screws at the bottom on the front and rear of that panel that need to be removed for it to hinge up, just like the panels at the rear over the A/C, etc. as discussed by FIRE UP.

for discussion, I got some pics of mine. Spent a little time crawling around and haven't found the screws yet, but I'll look again over the weekend. I'm curious.
