I am having new tires installed in the next couple of days. While the simulators are off I thought I would shine them up real good. Can any of you suggest a good product for this purpose? They are in good condition now, but I know I can make them look even better.

Try Gibbs oil...check their website...nice product that lasts along time...not a polish or surface brightner (it's a penatrant)..it should be good for $20 a can! Us old Hotrodders use it to make our chrome and aluminum engines look showroom fresh but still able to drive alot.

thank you both for your responses. I will look into both suggestions. Hope to have the tire done on Saturday.
flatheader36 - when I search for Gibbs Oil I only get returns for Joe Gibbs Racing Oil. Is this the stuff you are referring to? I am only able to find motor oil on their site.

thanks marleygirl, I've used never dull in the past on other metals and it works great. I've looked around and can't find it anymore in the stores locally.

Hummmm.... It says it cleans/ brightens aluminum too. Wonder how it works on the aluminum wheels?

That Gibbs Oil looks like good stuff.. BUT, it is not a cleaner...says to apply to clean dry metal...
Please, do yourself a favor for 12.95 try the Magic Mix, you won't be dissappointed.. I have no interest in the company, but just like to use good products...TRY IT , YOU"LL LIKE IT.
