1973 Chieftain For Sale

We have a 1973 Chieftain for sale. It's ready to be restored to it's former glory.

It is in good shape and road ready. 70,500 miles

We're asking $9,950.

It's mostly original, the refrigerator, toilet and, sorry to say, the shag carpet have all been replaced.

Original exterior bumper to bumper.

Includes working 8-Track player and approximately a dozen 8-track tapes.

Everything in good working order. Original Onan generator runs and works fine. New tires all around including spare.

Project ready.

Please ask me questions because I'm not sure what information you need.

How long have you owned the RV? Have you made many repairs on it?

I believe we have owned it since 2004. We're were told by the people who sold it to us that they had bought it from the original owner, so that makes us the third owner.

We repaired a cracked manifold, replaced the toilet and the black water tank, replaced the roof vents, and other minor things.

The roof needs some attention but seems to leak only with melting snow - a mistake on our part not to protect it.

This would be a GREAT Winter project. We'd love to see it go to a good home.

Now asking $6,500 but will entertain offers.

BTW, I'm getting more educated on Winnebagos answering inquiries, here's some more info: It's a D-24C and measures 24' 11" bumper to bumper.
