Worn stabilizer connection

The manual crank socket just slides over the connection to one of my stabilizers. It appears the stabilizer fitting has just worn down. I am currently using a socket from my toolbox socket set to raise and lower this particular stabilizer. (A smaller socket than my crank socket) It is very inconvenient. It also seems premature for this to be worn down; 2018 Minnie. Anyways, Ideas for a fix? Does the whole stabilizer need to be replaced or can I dissasemble and refit a new "screw" assembly. Maybe cover with a rubber wrap that will catch the socket? I can be creative. Hope this makes sense.

I have the same problem on two of my stabilizers and also looking for a fix so thought I would bounce this back up for a response from some creative person. Mine is also a 2018 so maybe newer units have a different threaded crank.

The first thing I would try is adding weld to the top of the fins on the stabilizer shafts and use a hand grinder to shape the weld to fit the slots on the stabilizer crank handle.

My second option would be to thread nuts in the end of the stabilizer shafts and weld them in place. This may involve using a die to clean up the threads, but this would allow for the use the same size socket on all stabilizers.
