The doors on the cabinet over the rear bed of our Minnie Winnie opened to the side and only about 18" wide, both of which made it somewhat cumbersome to load and unload. I wanted to widen the doors and the openings to about 24" and make them open in the upward direction.
Widening the openings was the easy part. I saw that Winnebago made 24" doors for another coach model that could be ordered, but at a cost of about $200 each. Ouch!
So I decided to make them myself. Did a pretty fair job if I may say so myself. The stain didn't turn out to be exact, but one would have to stare at them to tell the difference.
So the upshot is that more than likely you can get replacement cabinetry and parts from Winnebago, but be prepared to pay a pretty penny for them.
