Water tank filling question

New to me 2019 Micro Minnie 2108DS - I see the gravity fill connection next to the door and the city water connection at the back corner. Is there a valve to fill the water tank using the city water hookup?

In looking at this thread, it appears you have a city water/tank fill valve. So, the hose screws into your one connector, and you select tank.
Welcome to the Forum.

The city water doesn't fill the tank. There are larger trailers, like the Minnie Plus that have this feature but not the Minnies or Micro Minnies as far as I know. I bought the Camco Fill Adapter. It's slow, so I fill when I'm not in a hurry. If you fill too fast, it will overflow when it's nowhere near full.

I also use the camco fill adapter. Works great. I also usually attach my P3 Save A Drop Flow Meter right ahead of the fill adapter so I can keep an eye on how many gallons have gone in. Makes it a little easier to predict when it's going to spill over, or show you that it's spilling over way too soon.

The Camco thingy looks like the way to go. I was going to use a short piece of hose, but the clear tubing and valve looks nice. thanks for the link.

That is because your vent hose is crimped beneath the floor. This is a very common problem with Minnies.

We fill our 2108DS with the gravity fill by the door. There is no switch to fill the tank through the water hook up.

One thing to consider when filling the fresh water tank is to not try to fill it quickly. If you do, you can get a "bubble" building up and a rush of water coming out of the fill port. If you go slow and allow some of the air to escape as the water is going in you can avoid this problem. Trust me it was quite a surprise the first time I filled my water tank and it gushed out all over me.

Jbird, where do you access that? Take off the lower cover for the water tanks?
