Using a Jack on trailer

When using a jack to raise the trailer on a tandem axle to change or rotate a tire, where can you put the jack? Under the frame? Under the axle? I cannot move the trailer so unable to pull one wheel on a block of wood/cement to raise the other wheel off the ground. Thanks

We used a 2000lb bottle jack and put up it under a leaf spring shackle mount. This worked great for us.

JACK ONLY ON THE FRAME. The torsion axles on TTs will bend if you use them to jack up your trailer.

Yes, frame only. The leaf spring shackle mount is part of the frame. I used this for jacking because it’s the lowest frame member. Don’t use the axle or obviously the leaf spring.

As others have said, only jack on the frame. For our aluminum framed Livin Lite, I put a foot long 2x4 in back of the second wheel to distribute the load as I jack it up with a bottle jack.
