Trailer tongue toolbox

I'm looking to add a toolbox to the trailer tongue of our 2108ds. I want to be able to put the battery (or two) in the box and still have room for jack pads, chock blocks, etc. and be able to open it with the propane bottles in place. Any experience with dimensions that will fit, alternatives? toolbox models/brands that will fit?

Here's a link to the toolbox I installed using self tapping screws through the bottom of the toolbox and into the top of the frame. I use it
to store leveling blocks and ramps. I changed my 12V system over to lithium and moved my batteries to the pass-through.

Thanks, Fred. Do you know what the width is? Do you have any room to move it back towards the camper?

The outside dimensions of just the toolbox (no handles, latches or hasp) are: 8 9/16" wide x 32 3/8" long x 9 1/2" high. It is 9" wide at the latches and 9 7/16" wide at the center hasp.

The inside dimensions of the usable unobstructed interior space with the lid closed are: 8 1/4" wide X 31 1/4" long x 9 1/4" high.

There is no room to move it back towards the camper without obstructing the lid opening more than what it currently is. The picture I posted with the lid open has the lid resting against the front of the camper.

The distance to the bottom front edge of the toolbox, measured perpendicular to the front of the camper were the top of the A-frame meets the camper body is 14".

The distance between the front cap and the back of the propane tank cover, measured across the top of the closed toolbox is 10 7/8".

Thanks Fred,
I was looking at getting a narrow depth pickup box, but the narrowest I could find was 1 1/2” too deep. It would fit the space nicely, but the cover would not be able to fully open. Looks like you have found the only wide metal box that fits the space.
