Trade-in Value 2016 to 2018 2106FBS?

Good day to all.

I'm looking for a 2016 to 2018 2106FBS. Based on todays advertised retail prices exceeding original MSRP I would like to get an idea what dealers are offering (specifically Western USA)as a trade in value on either 2016 - 2018 model years;

2106FBS or 2106DS (for reference). I have a copy of a Manufacturer Retail sheet and a 2016 2106FBS landed was just under $30k in 2016. I'm seeing dealers advertising 2016's today at prices between $25 and $30k

Thanks to all for your anticipated feedback.

FWD:
Looking at nadaguides.com, suggested list was 26,909. average retail was 24,650. Low retail was 20,450. This is consistent with what I remember seeing back then, as I was looking at the same model.

Prices for new Micro Minnies are up a lot, so you would expect used ones to be higher as well. And, normally there aren't a lot of changes from one model year to the next, so you could just calculate a discount from a new one to come up with a fair price. However, Winnebago has made improvements to the Micro Minnie over the last few years. Comparing a 2022 model with a 2018 model is not apples-to-apples.

So, if you're buying used, you need to subtract for the missing improvements. From what I've seen doing some superficial browsing, I'm not seeing any discounts in the used market for missing improvements. Right now, until things settle out in the RV market, you may have to look awhile to find someone asking a fair value price.

What's a fair price? I've not seen one in decades! But then they keep selling them at that price so I must be wrong!
When my MIL found out my son had been hired at ten dollars an hour, she threw a fit as she had always made a dollar an hour when she worked!

Right now the story seems to be that whatever they ask is what you might want to call fair because the next guy may bid more! Like always, is depends on how bad you each want the thing!

That's what's playing out at this point. Assume once supply comes closer to demand not much will change.

Maybe the increase in interest rates with impact sales and the buyer will get back in the picture.

I give you a real-world scenario.

In May 2021 I bought a barely used Thor ACE 30.3 for $70000 from the original owner who used it twice and figured out RVing wasn't his thing.

I used one season and put over 3k miles on it. I, like many of us, received an email from CW asking me if I want to sell it. I replied, answered a few questions, took it to the closest CW and sold it for $86200. They are still offering what I consider top Dollar. I doubt that will last as all the RV dealers (at least in Missouri) getting a lot of inventory.
If you want to sell, the time is now.

Just an opinion, but you should be able to buy a new 2108fbs for something south of $30k. Inventories are increasing again. We bought new in Oct 2020 after searching for two months for a used unit. Winded up buying new for $23k, less than any late model advertised price we saw on internet. Time may be back where you can buy new for 30% below MSRP.

There are several dealers in my area that have had 2022 2108fbs on rvtrader and in stock since they first shipped. Of course, winter is the slow time in snow country, but this tells me that there was no backlog of orders either.

Dealer inventory and pricing discounts are not back to normal yet, but it looks like we're headed in that direction.
