Stabilizer power source 2100 bh

I just purchased a 2021 Winnebago Micro Minnie 2100 Bh. When dropping it off at storage I turned the power switch off to the battery in the front compartment. I noticed there is still power running to the stabilizer bars. Is this normal? Is there a way to cut all the power? Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by "stabilizer bars" unless your Micro came equipped with power stabilizers.

The easiest way to cut all power is to disconnect all wires connected to the positive terminal of your battery.

Thanks. Yes it came equipped with power stabilizers. I was under the impression that by turning off the 12V battery source switch that it would cut all power. I was just curious if that is normal or maybe it wasn’t wired correctly?

MMs have direct to battery wiring for tongue jack and slideouts. If you have power stabilizers they may also be wired direct to battery. You can re-wire these loads to your battery disconnect switch which will shut off all power. I re-wired them when I put in my new battery into the pass thru. There is a towable thread that has MM wiring diagram, which will help you find the correct wires. Don’t remember the thread. Under towable, search “wiring diagram

Interesting. I don't have the powered stabilizers. Do they consume power when they are off? If not, maybe they're not worth worrying about (like the tongue jack).

If they do consume power in standby mode: If you trace the wiring starting at the batteries, you might find a fuse that you can pull. Ultimately you could add a switch as a DIY improvement.

Easy enough to re-wire. The wires are connected to a junction box on the inside of the tongue, which is fed by the battery cables. After finding the correct wires, you can shove them up through the floor and into the loom that leads to the disconnect switch. You have to pry the loom open a bit to get the wires through. Connect wires to disconnect on opposite side of battery cable, and you now have all loads controlled by disconnect. Although, in my mind, there’s no reason to do this job unless you’re installing pass thru batteries, as these loads don’t have any phantom current that I’m aware of when not being used.

Cool. If there is no drainage to the battery I won’t worry about it. Thanks guys!

Just make sure you turn off the slide on/off switch, or it will phantom draw.
