Squeaky Suspension Micro Minnie FLX
We just took a 3 week trip to Canada, about 2500 miles and some of the roads were less than ideal. Developing a lot of squeaking and suspecting the suspension needs maintenance. Does the suspension require lubing periodically? Also, we have a blue ox weight distribution system which may cause more bouncing of the trailer...advice?

Good Day,
There is no lubrication required, nor a place to lubricate the suspension. I would assume there is always going to be squeaking, some from the torsion axles themselves and the equalizer setup. Depending on the equalizer system they may suggest lubricating certain parts periodically.
Best check with the owners manual for that.

Too bad Travel Trailers do not come with Owner's Manuals. Which is common in the TT industry-wide.
Motorhome owners are spoiled, we have complete fairly specific Operator's Manuals in every coach... with online PDF versions, as well.
Your Micro Minnie FLX comes with Dexter® TORFLEX® torsion stub axle and checking the Dexter website you can get manuals for your Light Duty TorFlex suspension: https://www.dexteraxle.com/Products/Torsion-Axles

Blu ox culprit
If the ball is greased I’ll bet the “arm sockets” need lube, mine were squeaking till I lubed them and till have to do it periodically.
Lowe’s sells a mini grease gun cheap $15, but I would stop by HD for some Super Lube Teflon grease in 3oz cartridges.
Big fan f that lube, has gotten me thru some tuff industrial issues, and will continue to lube when the grease runs low.
Best would be to pump out the old cheap oem grease, pump until you see clean new grease come out top and bottom.

according to the manual, the light duty Torflex suspension does not require any lube, the stub axle bearings probably do require greasing but seems unlikely that bearing would need it after only 4000 or so miles of use... what do you think? Also, sounds like pulling apart the axle to repack the bearings is above my pay grade. Comments?

Dollars-2-donuts it’s the blu ox squeaking!
I also put dust caps on the grease fittings so I am not pumping dirt trapped in the ball of the fitting when I relive.
Also try not to spray water directly at the hitch when cleaning, it blows out the grease!
