Slide issue 2019 Micro Minnie 2106FBS

Hey everyone, this is my first post so take it easy on me.

My parents upgraded travel trailers and they gave me their 2019 2106fbs micro. My daughter and I have been having a great time in it camping all summer.

This past weekend I noticed that when fully extended the slide doesn’t seem like it’s going all the way out. I’m getting about an 1” gap all the way around the slide. It seems like it’s moving correctly, no obstructions, no warning lights on motor, etc.

Maybe I never noticed this gap before but is that normal for the gap to be there? For some reason I thought the slide out “surround” went flush to the interior wall.

I should add that it fully retracts just fine, right against the exterior.

Mine slides all the way out, and it appears there is a gap, but when you feel back there you can feel the gasket is against the wall.

Here is a picture of the gap.

It looks like the trim should be up against the wall but maybe I just never noticed it before. The slide goes in/out fine, looks synchronized, and I can’t find any obstructions.

Anyone have any ideas?
