Screened enclosure for Micro Minnie towables ?

Hey all, We have a 2019 2106FBS. Have absolutely had a blast with it too. this summer we will be staying seasonally on the MD/VA Eastern shore where the only thing bigger than the crabs are the mosquitos. Our unit is in storage and can't remember if our awning roller has a tract to slide a fit to made mesh screen porch under it. Has anyone ever screened theirs in for bug free comfort sitting out at night? Any thoughts or recommendations. PAT

We have a zipblocker-like shade (I can't recall the brand) that I believe goes into a slot on the end of the awning. We can zip on a shade, but I don't believe this is what you are looking for. I can't picture any place for attachments on the sides, nor would that solve the bugs coming from under the trailer . Please post if you come up with some kind of solution! I'm sure many would love to see it -- and for certain I would like to see it.

This is what we've used for 7 or 8 years now. Goes up quick. Has a floor. It's durable and easily moveable, too. Ours is 10x10 and I think was $85. It folds easily and has a carry bag to make it easy to store. Room inside enough for two camp chairs, a small table, two people and the dog and dog's bed.

They make two or three other sizes, too.

Here's ours setup back in 2013 when we had an Arctic Fox TT:

PS. Photo taken at Haviland Lake CG, our favorite National Forest campground just north of Durango, CO. Pristine wooded sites with 50-amp power. We still go every year.

we've looked at this for a while it's hard to seal off anything that attaches to the sunshade -- we ended up buying a Gazelle screen tent like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Here's an article I found that has some ideas. https://rvshare.com/blog/rv-awning-s...ad-buying-one/
As far as bugs coming underneath, a skirt would take care of that. Now I have to check out our awning for attachment options!

Check out the CLAM Quick set. I think there are two sizes 12’x 12’ or 6’x 6’. I have the smaller one. It literally is a 2 min, one person set up. It is an screened outdoor canopy enclosure that you also can add wind and sun panels to. Folded up it’s fairly light and compact. I take it along whenever I expect to encounter bugs. I can leave it up and staked whereas my awning I take up or down depending on wind .

I’m glad you posted this, I was contemplating the same thing. My wife bought a screen tent that was destroyed after two weeks by the wind. I remember having the same model as you in my basement that I left behind over weight concerns. I wish I would have brought it since it’s so easy to take down if need be. I was wondering if it would fit under the awning like you did. I’ll brin* it next year and try to find a way to secure it since I’m on a cement pad.

PIC,

Have you checked out the awning manufacturer to see what they might have available as an add-a-room. I know that Dometic has them. Likely more expensive than the Screened Tents.
