Schwintek slideout Controller

When I went thru the walk thru with the RV sales representative I asked where the slideout controller was located. He did not know what I was talking about. I guess that may be good news as they have not had problems with slideouts. After I got mine home I found the controller for my 2108 FBS. It is located on the front area just below the slideout. There is a panel about 10 to 12 inches long covering it. Not the best location to see the error code especially with the slideout retracted.

They really hid the controller behind a slatted panel below the refrigerator on out 2018 2250DS. Have never had any problems with the slide out.

At least it’s nice to know where it is located in case you have any problems with the slideout.

It is nice to know where things are located on our Rv, but it is often true that things are not located where we think of them as handy. The secret to reading the code if the slideout is blocking it when retracted is to know how to move the slide without power!
Rv life is not meant to be easy, just comfy and part of that is knowing what to do when things fail.

Old thread I know but I just saw this in search results. We also have a 2021 Micro Minnie FLX 2108 FBS and I am having trouble visualizing this. Is it UNDER the slide-out but INSIDE the trailer? It looks like I'd have to pull that whole wood panel underneath off to get to it. I am guessing that's the panel but wanted to be sure.

Are there 4 motors or 2 of them? We're going camping this weekend and I want to be able to manually retract the slide-out if something goes bonkers.
