Roof Maintenance for 2022 Micro Minnie 2100BH

Last December we purchased a 22 2100BH. I would like to maintain the roof so I referred to the owners manual. It does not seem to offer much advise other than keep it clean and do not use any coatings to protect the surface from ultraviolet light or ozone. Protective coatings may damage the rubber roof membrane.

Owners; what do you do or use to maintain your roof?

Khild 1 - Thanks for your response. I'm surprised more owners have not commented. Anyway, laundry detergent-the powdered kind; have you followed the mechanic's advice?

I wash mine every 3 months with liquid laundry detergent or a roof cleaner from dicor, I don't treat it with anything and check my seals . If I have spots of mold I use a bleach solution to get the spores off. I have a 2020 2108 DS. Good luck

Thanks Mstench for sharing. Before reading your response I ordered Camco Pro-Tec RV Rubber Roof Care System. It is a 2 step system and was highly recommended on a Goggle search. Will see how it works.

Hey Ron thanks a lot for posting. I may cancel my order for the Camco product.

I've used Protect All's RV Rubber Roof Cleaner twice a year (Spring and Fall) for the past 5 years. After using the cleaner I check the roof and seals for potential issues. These issues are much easier to spot on a clean roof. I have not used any treatment products afterwards.

Thanks Fred for your response. Winnebago responded and sent me information on care of the roof as well as it's warranty. Just need to clean it and skip putting on protectant as protectant is built into the roof. I canceled the Camo product and ordered Dicor Roof cleaner. Thanks to all the others who have responded.
