New Rustic Wood Theme for our Micro Minnie' Interior
We purchased our Micro Minnie new six years ago and decided it's time for a new interior look. Playing off the mural behind the bed that we added five years ago, we decided to continue with the rustic wood theme throughout the interior. Today, we finished the bedroom area and liked the new look, so we are continuing with the kitchen, slide room and bathroom areas.

I really like it. What did you use to do that?

Finished our new rustic wood interior look. We like it.
Here are pictures. The lighting wasn't consistent so some pictures are lighter, some are darker. The first and second pictures are closest to the actual colors/shades.
- Bedroom area
- Kitchen area
- Slide area
- Bathroom area
- Door side panorama
- Road side panorama

Recently, added a little something to the ceiling for when your looking up as you enter the camper.
More interior changes/additions to come.

This wallpaper is stunning! We have a few areas that need repair. Was this hard to do? All those nooks and crannies?

Thanks!
It wasn't that hard to do. I think the keys are having the right tools, patience and removing everything you can from the section of the wall your working on. Especially the window trim rings and valances.
We took one area at a time and did it over a total of 6 days working 4-6 hours a day.
The way we broke the project down was working from the front wall, which we had done 5 years before: - road side wall to the slide room
- door side wall to the door
- door to the stove
- bathroom
- slide room and TV area.

We've just about finished up our new interior look. Added a couple HomCom swivel base recliners, Lagun table leg systems, Farberware bamboo cutting boards for the tables and a Barkan long arm TV wall mount to make it easier to watch TV from the recliners.
To add the Lagun mounts to the armrests that remained after removing the OEM sofa bed, I needed to anchor the armrests better and add large fender washers inside the armrests for additional reinforcement to bolt the mounts to. Also added three eye-screws and an eyebolt to the wall behind the TV to anchor a couple flat bungee cords to will keep the TV in place while traveling.
The one downside of the older Micro Minnies is the high above floor slide mechanism needed to clear the roadside wheel well. Due to this height; we also added a couple folding step stools to make it easier to get in and out of the recliners.
