Circuit Listing from fuse box for 2529RG with 12v refrigerator??

Could someone with a 12v refrigerator in their 2529RG post their circuit listing from the fuse panel? I am considering powering the backup camera from the refrigerator 12v line through a switch. Would prefer to not use power from a running light.

Yes, gas/electric but there is still 12v to it, just not a dedicated circuit. According to the wiring diagram, it is on circuit 4, the slide room circuit.

Does the 7-pin plug on the 2529RG have a pin to bring power in from the tow vehicle? If our truck can't charge the trailer battery (even with the solar panel), I guess it makes more sense to power the camera from the running lights powered by the truck. We would like to have a camera on the interior also. Sorry for all the questions, but we haven't got our trailer yet.

Does anyone know where the air return for the propane heater is on a 2529RG?

No1Hunter,
On our 2021 2529RG, it's under the cabinet opposite the wardrobe in the hallway...you'll have to get down and feel for it. ours doesn't have a screen covering it so things can (and will) get "lost" down there. Don't ask how I know.

Actually, that is a heat exhaust vent on ours. When the furnace is running, heat comes out, And yes, no screen as there is a dog treat down it LOL

I found the return. It is in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. It is not ducted, just open next to the water heater.

How does your duct under the dinette work? I found mine was off-center significantly and not much air was coming how. I corrected it the best I could, but it still doesn't work very well - nothing like the bathroom vent. The air just seems to blow right by.

No1Hunter,
Hmmm...I've never felt heat coming out of that "black hole" under the cabinet. Crazy. I'll have to check it out next time we use the furnace.

No real issue with the duct in the dinette. I usually use a small electric heater if needed and then light off the furnace in the morning while I make coffee.

first 2500 miles easy peasy

I posted a thread on our return to Cal. in the Travel section, thought I would post here for other 2529RG owners.
Left Fla. with our new to us 2021 2529 Mini heading to our home in No. Cal. Before we left brought the trailer to La Mesa in PSL for some minor warranty work..warranty is good till mid July. La mesa did a great job and we headed out, planning to take I10 across, but at Lafayette, La. headed north to I40. Once we left Shreveport, La. took 2 and 4 lane roads NW through Texas, really glad we did. Saw some beautiful towns and nice looking country. Also helped that diesel was around $4.20/gal....soon to change dramatically.
About 20 miles west of Albuquerque a passing car told us that we had a wheel smoking.

Pulled into a small town, and luckily there was a truck/Rv repair shop. They pulled the right rear tire and had to back off the brakes to pull the brake drum. They cleaned up the bearings (no damage, but they were low on grease) repacked them, replaced the the inner seal and greased the axle. The axle (Dexter?) has zerk fittings. I asked them to check the other 3 wheels, adjust brakes and grease the axles. Great shop with good techs, and we were on our way in 2 hours.
Next day we left Seligman, Az. KOA and made a fuel stop in Kingman. I made rounds checking the axles and found the right front tire very warm. After going to 2 RV repair shops, finally found one that would look at the trailer. He jacked up the wheel and to our surprise it rotated freely but there was a grinding noise. The drum was extremely difficult to remove, but once it was off we noticed that the problem was that the large brake return spring had broken. A portion of the spring had been ground down. Because of lack of parts, we decided to disassemble the brakes shoes from the backing plate, replace the inner bearing (old one was still ok), replace the seal, and grease up the axle, remount the drum and wheel. So after 2.5 hours we headed west again.
At every fuel stop, all 4 wheels were normal temp.

Last camp was in Bakersfield....fueled up ($6.78/gal) and home in about 4 hours.

A side note, I have noticed the last 4-5 years that Flying J, Pilot, Loves...which use to be moderately priced fuel are now the most expensive. Here in Cal. $7.25 gal.!
Not sure what caused the 2 problems, but I contacted Winnebago, sent them some pictures of the broken spring and brake pads, and we'll see where that goes.
I called La Mesa in Sacramento, and they informed me because they don't sell Winnebago trailers they would not do warranty work. Two other authorized Winnebago dealers are only servicing units that they have sold.
All in all, good trip, we are safe, sound and a little road weary.

You drove right by our I-10 exit!

Gigman,
We're just a little bit off !-10 in Mississippi....would have loved to meet you.
Bummer you had the issue with the wheel bearing(s). Our 2021 2529RG does have the Dexter axles. I carry a complete set of bearings, seals, and grease, just in case.
I found a GREAT RV repair shop near me using: RV Service Reviews
Hopefully, you can find someone to work on your Minnie near you.
Bought regular gas for my Bride's little car at the Love's in Gulfport, MS the other day for $4.399 a gallon. Diesel (which we don't use / need) is $5,439 a gallon.
Safe travels.

Spent a year in Biloxi...Keesler AFB...roamed from Pensacola. to New Orleans.
Really liked the area and people. Great memories.
Would have liked to get together, we spent the first night at the KOA in Milton.

Planning to replace the brake assembly that failed on my cross country trip. Leaning on doing all 4 wheels just to be safe. The trailer is a 2021 and looking for some info and advise.

I think the axles are Dexter, and I know that they have the zerk fitting on the spindle.

Does anyone know if the size of the brake assembly..I think they are 10 inch.
Also have a choice on manual or self adjusting, any experience with the self adjusting.
Keep it simple with the manual adjust units?
Thanks

Coffee on 12V or stove??

If not on 110V, what is the best solution for coffee? A 12V coffee maker or something made on the stove? It seems like years ago we made coffee on the stove!! I wish we still had our old aluminum perk pot. WE'RE SPOILED!!!

Aw C’mon.
A million different ways to make coffee without ac or dc power.
Pour thru
French press
percolator
Coffee boil

All you need is a flame.
And don’t need a flame for. Cold brew.

Picked up one of these at a yard sale for $5. It is a little slower than our home dripper, but it works great.

Gigman,
Our 2021 2529RG has Dexter axles. This is confirmed by the tag on the axle. According to the Dexter "Operation Maintenance Service Manual" the brake size is 10" by 2 1/4. To the best of my knowledge, we have the manual adjusting brakes.
Hope this helps.

brakes

Bob, thanks a bunch for that. I have a mobile rv repair coming to the house on Weds. or Thursday. He says he has all the parts stocked in his truck. Looking good, we have our annual Lake Tahoe trip planned for July....going to be good to be back on the road.
Thanks again for the help. Lou

Need Info from Tags on 2529RG Sofa/Recliner

We are trying to get a couch/recliner that apparently was used in the 2529RG, apparently to substitute for other couch or recliners that were temporarily unavailable (according to Winnebago). The unit we are seeking looks like a couch, but has an upper middle that folds down with recliners on both sides.

We know this couch/recliner is made by Lippert. Lippert needs the information on tags under the bottom of one of the recliners to locate a unit for us to purchase. If you have this couch/recliner, I would really appreciate picture(s) of these tags. My email is [email protected].

I sent you a photo of the label on the underside of the foot rest. I don't think the recliner in our 2021 2529RG is exactly as the photo you posted. But hope it helps.
