One of my first posts on here, you can see where I used a hole saw and cut into my heat duct. And then repaired it.
Trying to wire pull anything from the ceiling is fruitless. Very tight up there.

The dealer had taped the two large cuts to expose our slides. Glad that I made them document that the underbelly would be returned to "NEW" condition, as the tape failed in hot summer weather. I had to re-tape until we could get in for repair, and that has been fine through the cooler weather of Fall and Winter.

We would like to use a different shelf with hooks to replace the towel bar, found an aluminum model that is very light. The bathroom wall behind the toilet (shared with the bedroom) seems to be solid all the way across. Has tried to use screws on this wall? I'm not sure what a stud finder will do with a solid wall??

Make sure you don't use to long of screws. LOL. When my dealer installed a closet rod in the mid-ship wardrobe, I watched and was hoping the screws didn't appear on the other side of the wall. They didn't.

That wall feels like there is something solid between the wall panels on both sides? I'll probe when I take the towel bar off.

We bought this model about a month ago. I'm wondering about the slide-out topper--is it a must-have? We mostly have the slide-out open when we store the trailer at home.

We had one installed when we bought our trailer. Mainly because we camp in the forest and I didn't want to climb up on top to sweep pine needles and scrap pitch of the slide roof. However, if you live in a windy area, you may not want one or keep your slide in while storing it.

We have one installed on 2529RG. Keeps the leaves off the slide when camping under trees. Takes the direct sunlight off the top of the slide when open. We had them on our Class A and liked them. Is it a must-have? No.

As noted, slide topper only of value to keep debris from trees off. We haven't gotten one yet, but I discovered that Carefree has a slide topper to match the main awning. I get up on the roof and sweep before departure, when under trees. Remember that you have to get a roof inspection, from a WB dealer as I remember, annually to maintain warranty on roof material.

Shelf/towel hooks....

My wife found this shelf on Temu.com. I think she searched for towel bar. It is aluminum (or??), very light. Shelf folds up. Just got it up, so not sure if shelf will stay up bouncing down the road. Doesn't matter, her case travels in sink cabinet. Think I hit something with top screws about 10" down and shelf centered.

Black/Grey Tank Level Indicators...

Our black tank indicator light shows 1/3 when empty, and 2/3 when full. The bathroom grey tank also shows 1/3 when empty. Do these indicators work for anyone else? Five days is about our dumping limit.

Ours work, but I don't believe they are very accurate.

How many days of use did you have before you started to get faulty readings?
The sensors will get more inaccurate the longer you go without thoroughly cleaning your tanks. I takes 3-5 long rinses with the blank tank rinse to clean it. You’ve got to rinse until you get clear water coming out. Also helps to add a bag of ice a bit of water and some detergent to the black tank after rinsing just before you hit the road. The action of the ice sloshing around will grind off sediments. For gray water, after dumping, put about 5 gal into the gray tank and add 1/2 cup dish detergent. Drive around.. Then Dump gray tank, and rinse it, making sure it’s completely clear. Best to clean the gray when you sanitize fresh water system by introducing bleach and driving around. Your sensors will now be as accurate as they can get. Once a year treatment, same time as once a year sanitizing.

Tail light issue!

Has anyone else experienced this? Showed up about an hour before reaching home.
I was able to locate replacement tail lights at both etrailer and ebay (less expensive).
